In the Autumn term we helped the jolly Postman find all the letters that he had dropped in our school playground

After half term we became space experts! We were lucky enough to go on a school trip to Winchester Science Museum where we learnt about the astronaut Tim Peake.  Here is a Robin dressed up in a space suit!

We worked really hard and recited a poem to the rest of the school assembly.  The grown-ups in school were very impressed with our performance.

Robin class really enjoyed being part of the Year 1 Christmas Nativity.  Everyone worked really hard to learn their lines and it was a wonderful way to end the Autumn term.

In the Spring term we were fossil hunters.  We really enjoyed using all the new role play equipment, and took our job very seriously! We even created our own fact books all about dinosaurs and share them with the Year R children.

We Also enjoyed working with poet James Carter and invented an amazing animal poem with our friends from Woodpecker class.
Robin class had lots of fun in Book Week.  We looked at 'Spookyrumpus' by Tony Mitton.  We made a fizzing potion, created disgusting spells and created some amazing art work.
Off with your head! In Spring B we were learning about kings, queens and castles.  We were all really interested in this topic, look at some of our amazing home learning!
