Remote Learning

If there is a period of partial or full school closure, for example due to a pandemic, we may need to provide education remotely.

Remote learning at New Milton Infant is designed to support your child’s learning at home in a clear, consistent, and age-appropriate way. We provide structured activities that match what your child is learning in school, helping to reinforce key skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and wider learning.

Each week, you will receive simple instructions for accessing learning materials and completing tasks. Please encourage your child to follow a daily routine where possible, including short learning sessions, breaks, and time to practise reading. If you have any questions or find a task challenging, contact your child’s teacher so we can offer guidance and adjust support where needed.

We also focus on wellbeing and positive engagement. Remote learning should feel manageable and encouraging, with praise for effort and progress. If your child needs additional help, or if there are circumstances affecting access to devices or materials, please let us know as early as possible so we can work together to find practical solutions.
