Emergency School Closure
CORONAVIRUS
As you will be aware, the Government have decided that all school will close as from Friday 20th March 2020.
Parents should keep their children at home and do everything they can to ensure children are not mixing socially in a way which could continue the spread of the Coronavirus, observing the same social distancing principles as adults.
They have asked schools to remain open only for those children who absolutely need to attend. This includes parents whose work is critical to the COVID-19 response, such as those who work in health and social care and other specified key sectors.
Many parents working in these sectors may be able to keep their child at home.
The expectation from the Government is that every child who can be safely cared for at home, should be.

EMERGENCY SCHOOL CLOSURE
If it is necessary to close the school due to bad weather, heating failure or any other unforeseen circumstances, we will notify parents via this website, as soon as possible. We will display any messages on the scrolling banner on the home page.
We will also endeavour to text parents and will register the closure on the Hampshire County Council 'Emergency School Closures' page (see link below), which will also notify the local radio stations.
Parents are therefore urged to listen to these local radio stations for information:-
