WELCOME ON BOARD!

Our award winning  Library Bus continues to promote the love of reading and excitement about books that is a key part of our ethos at New Milton Infant School.

During their weekly afternoon library session the children love to listen to stories, learn library skills, learn story making and share books on the top deck of the bus.

Many parents have signed their children up to borrow books from our library.  Only one book can be borrowed at a time but books can be changed as frequently as wished.  You can collect stickers on your reward chart to show how many books you have borrowed and most frequent users will have a chance to win a prize every term.   The photographs below show some parents and children choosing and sharing books together.

Encouraging your child to do this can help to set them on a journey of reading discovery that will stay with them for a lifetime!

If you haven't activated your child's library membership yet please come along at any of the following times and do so.  We really hope every child will benefit from the opportunity our bus provides.

The Library Bus is open to all children as follows:

Every morning from    08.30-08.45

Every afternoon from 3.20-3.45
