Welcome to the "Friends" PTA section!

The 'Friends of New Milton Infant School' are an important part of our school. They are a team of parents who help raise money for our school through organising Summer and Christmas fairs, cake stalls, hamper raffles and other activities throughout the year. This additional funding enhances school experiences for our pupils through heavily subsidising school trips as well as paying for special visitors to school such as  authors, theatre shows,  African Drumming. Children also enjoy extra treats through the festive season and  Easter eggs for the hunt.  

The "Friends" have also raised funds to improve the school grounds, including helping the school with the cost of the new playground equipment and surfacing that was completed in August 2024.  

In Spring/Summer 2025, the Friends would like to purchase a large mobile screen that will be used for assemblies in the school hall, and also for parent information events, and are currently organising fundraising events for this.

In 2024, "Friends" of New Milton Infant School partly funded some of the new play equipment on our playground.

Forthcoming "Friends" Events:-

On Wednesday 2nd April 2025, the children will take part in a sponsored 'Bunny Hop' around the school field - all money raised goes directly to the Friends of New Milton Infant School to pay for things like coaches for school trips, books and equipment/resources.

Children should come to school wearing their PE kit, and they will make bunny ears at school to wear as they hop around the field, please do not bring any bunny ears in from home.

A yellow sponsor form has been sent to families in your child's bookbag, however additional forms can be printed out from here, or collected from the school office.

We would be grateful if you could sponsor your child and ask friends, family and colleagues to get involved as well.

• All forms should be returned by Friday 25th April latest (after the Easter holidays) but please do feel free to return before that
