Nothing is more important to us than the safety and welfare of our pupils. We take rigorous steps to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.
It is defined as:
- protecting children from maltreatment
- preventing impairment of children’s health and development
- ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care and
- taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes.
We work closely with parents / carers and a range of professional external agencies in order to secure this.
If you have any concerns, no matter how small they may seem, about the safety or welfare of any child, please contact Mrs Clark, Deputy Headteacher, or Mrs Stanton, Headteacher.
